Selena Gomez denies the theory that “Come and Get it” is about Justin Bieber

Selena Gomez had an interview on “On Air With Ryan Seacrest, where she denied that her new song “Come and Get It” is about her ex-boyfriend Justin Bieber.  "Honestly, to be 100 percent real, it's not really about a specific person," the “Spring Breakers” actress said. "The reason why I wanted this to be the first single was because it exudes...confidence and strength and that is something I'm willing to share with the world.” The new track, which Miss Gomez's scheduled to perform at the MTV Movie Awards, combines a bhangra beat and vocal with a club-ready vibe and a dreamy bridge.

National Anthem - Lana Del Rey

In my opinion, “National Anthem” is one of the best songs from Lana Del Rey’s second studio album “Born to Die.” The single, which is co-written by David Sneddon of Fame Academy passim, ties together elements of alternative hip hop, indie pop and baroque pop. Throughout the song, Lana Del Rey delivers her lyrics like she's puckering up for a big fat kiss. The video for the track, directed by Anthony Mandler, features rapper A$AP Rocky playing the part of a young commander in chief while Lana Del Rey takes on both Marilyn Monroe and Jackie O. Albeit, a very loose-hipped, dancing version of the First Lady. Please tweet this post if you love the song.

National Anthem

Money is the anthem
Of success
So before we go out
What's your address?

I'm your National Anthem
God, you're so handsome
Take me to the Hamptons
Bugatti Veyron

He loves to romance them
Reckless abandon
Holding me for ransom
Upper echelon

He says to "be cool" but
I don't know how yet
Wind in my hair
Hand on the back of my neck
I said, "Can we party later on?"
He said, "Yes, yes, yes"

Tell me I'm your National Anthem
Ooh, yeah, baby, bow down
Making me so wow, wow
Tell me I'm your National Anthem
Sugar, sugar, how now
Take your body down town
Red, white, blue's in the sky
Summer's in the air and
Baby, heaven's in your eyes
I'm your National Anthem

Money is the reason
We exist
Everybody knows it, it's a fact
Kiss, kiss

I sing the National Anthem
While I'm standing over your body
Hold you like a python
And you can't keep your hands off me
Or your pants on
See what you've done to me
King of Chevron

He said to "be cool" but
I'm already coolest
I said to, “Get real,"
“Don't you know who you're dealing with?
Um, do you think you'll buy me lots of diamonds?”

Tell me I'm your National Anthem
Ooh, yeah, baby, bow down
Making me so wow, wow
Tell me I'm your National Anthem
Sugar, sugar, how now
Take your body down town
Red, white, blue's in the sky
Summer's in the air and
Baby, heaven's in your eyes
I'm your National Anthem

It's a love story for the new age
For the six page
Want a quick sick rampage?
Wining and dining
Drinking and driving
Excessive buying
Overdose and dyin'
On our drugs and our love
And our dreams and our rage
Blurring the lines between real and the fake
Dark and lonely
I need somebody to hold me
He will do very well
I can tell, I can tell
Keep me safe in his bell tower, hotel

Money is the anthem of success
So put on mascara, and your party dress

I'm your National Anthem
Boy, put your hands up
Give me a standing ovation
Boy, you have landed
Babe, in the land of
Sweetness and Danger
Queen of Saigon

Repeat Chorus

Money is the anthem
God, you're so handsome
Money is the anthem
Of success

Money is the anthem
God, you're so handsome
Money is the anthem
Of success

Mother Like Mine The Band Perry lyrics

“Mother Like Mine” is a new song by country trio The Band Perry from their sophomore album "Pioneer," which will be released on April 2, 2013. The track was inspired by the sibling group's mom and according to lead singer Kimberly Perry, the latest single was “the most honest song” they wrote for their upcoming album.

Mother Like Mine

She's the sky that holds the clouds
She's the lady of the house
A blind believer in all I dare to be
There's no safer place I've found
Than the shoulder of her white night gown
Oh I've got the best and the worst of her in me
I'd share her if I could

Oh the wars would all be over
'Cause she'd raise us all as friends
And no one would ever wonder if somebody wanted them
We'd walk on grass that's greener
And our cares would all be freer
If the world had a mother like mine

She's our father's one great love
She's the one he wanted most
She's the light in the window of the house I grew up in
She takes the midnight call
She's the bravest of us all
And she sings in the garden that she let's her hair down in

Oh the wars would all be over
'Cause she'd raise us all as friends
And no one would ever wonder if somebody wanted them
Tonight would be easier
And our dreams would all be deeper
If the world had a mother like mine

Don't go away
Don't go away from me
Oh I understand
She is a helping hand
But I have to say
She's the sky that holds the clouds
She's the lady of our house
We all need her
But no one more than me

Oh the wars would all be over
'Cause she'd raise us all as friends
And no one would ever wonder if somebody wanted them
We'd walk on grass that's greener
And our cares would all be freer
If the world had a mother like mine

Oh like mine

Tonight

[Verse]
[Ne-Yo]
It seems like every day is something else
Another reason to be stressing

[Jessica]
And you just wanna run away, said you just wanna run away

[Ne-Yo]
You try to get out and enjoy yourself
But everybody’s wack, it’s so depressing

[Jessica]
And you just wanna run away, yeah, said you just wanna run away

[Bridge]

[Ne-Yo]
Though we ’bout to hop up on this rocket
Get up outta here

[Jessica]
Go somewhere where nothing ever goes wrong
‘Bout to hop up on this rocket
Take to the sky
Everything is fine

[Chorus]
‘Cause we ain’t even on Earth tonight
We on a planet where the dudes got money and they’re not afraid to spend it
Hey-oh, Hey-oh, and everything is alright, hey-oh hey-oh
‘Cause we ain’t even on Earth tonight
We on a planet where there ain’t no drama and the party’s never ending
Hey-oh, Hey-oh, and everything is alright, hey-oh hey-oh

[Verse]

And you just wanna run away, said you just wanna run away

Hey-oh, Hey-oh, and everything is alright, hey-oh hey-oh

[Post Chorus]

[Jessica]
‘Cause we ain’t even on Earth tonight

[Ne-Yo]
Pretty baby, babe

[Jessica]
No oh-oh-oh
‘Cause we ain’t even on Earth tonight
Oh oh-oh

[Middle]

[Ne-Yo]
And we’ll be dancing through the mornings

[Jessica]
Grab my girls from Venus, grab your boys from Mars
And we’ll get away, go somewhere and just get right

Hey Porsche - Nelly

Prolific artist Nelly switches it up with his catchy new song “Hey Porsche,” a modern sound for the singer with a club beat and poppy vocals. Nelly does rap a bit on on the single, but sings the chorus and mixes his rhymes with a memorable melody and straight-up pop hook. Produced by DJ Frank E, “Hey Porsche” is the lead track from his seventh studio album M.O.

Hey Porsche

Hey little Porsche, I wanna try ya
Crazy baby girl, there ain't nothing like you
Hey little Porsche, so right I had to get ya
B-b-back it up, let's roll, roll, roll

Girl let's go!
You sexy thing, you turn me on,
I need a private show, here on the lawn, in my garage
I think you on a roll, hey Porsche girl
I think you know what I wanna do
Come on let me slide under so I can work on, work on you

[Pre-Chorus:]
I wanna take your top off, celebrate this champagne pop-off
Yeah, we could turn the clocks off
No rush, baby we could just park somewhere
I don't need nobody's permission
No keys, push start to ignition, say

[Chorus:]
Hey little Porsche, I wanna try ya
Crazy baby girl, there ain't nothing like you
Hey little Porsche, so right I had to get ya
B-b-back it up, let's roll, roll, roll, roll

Na na na na na na
Hey Porsche
Na na na na na na
I want you
Na na na na na na
Hey Porsche
Na na na na na na
I want you

Girl you know,
Damn I've been dreaming about the day you let me take you home
Just for a week and maybe more
Just saying, say I've never seen an ass like that
You gon' make a nigga crash like that
Since I seen you in the window, knew what I was in for
Spending every rack on that

[Pre-Chorus:]
I wanna take your top off, celebrate this champagne pop-off
Yeah, we could turn the clocks off
No rush, baby we could just park somewhere
I don't need (I don't need) nobody's permission
No keys, push start to ignition, say

[Chorus:]
Hey little Porsche, I wanna try ya
Crazy baby girl, there ain't nothing like you
Hey little Porsche, so right I had to get ya
B-b-back it up, let's roll, roll, roll, roll

La-la-la-la-la-la
Hey Porsche
Na-na-na-na-na-na
I want you
Na-na-na-na-na-na
Hey Porsche
Na-na-na-na-na-na
I, I want you

I wanna see how fast you can go
See how you handle as I'm losing control
As I make you turn around
Hey, let me turn up your sound
T-t-turn it up and now here we go

Repeat Chorus

Na na na na na na
Hey Porsche
Na na na na na na
I want you

I Could Be the One - Avicii and Nicky Romero

Dance music isn't always for everyone but the song “I Could Be the One” by Avicii and Nicky Romero is really an amazing track you should listen to, even if you are not a fan of this type of music. According to Search Dave, the single was formerly known as "Nicktim" and its title was then changed after vocals by Noonie Bao were added.

I Could Be the One

Do you think about me when you're all alone?
The things we used to do, we used to be
I could be the one to make you feel that way
I could be the one to set you free

Do you think about me when the crowd is gone?
It used to be so easy, you and me
I could be the one to make you feel that way
I could be the one to set you free

I could be the one to make you feel that way
I could be the one to set you free
I could be the one to make you feel that way
I could be the one to set you free

When you need a way to beat the pressure down
When you need to find a way to breathe
I could be the one to make you feel that way
I could be the one to set you free

If you never see me when the crowd is gone
It used to be so easy, can't you see?
I could be the one to make you feel that way
I could be the one to set you free

I could be the one to make you feel that way
I could be the one to set you free
I could be the one to make you feel that way
I could be the one to set you free
I could be the one to make you feel that way
I could be the one to set you free
I could be the one to make you feel that way
I could be the one to set you free

Wings - Little Mix

“Wings” from British X Factor winners Little Mix’s debut album “DNA” is a good pop song with the message of the track encouraging fans to ignore any negativity around them. The lyrics of the song is nice in the sense that it shows the girls getting advice from their mum and not to restrict themselves. “Wings” is definitely the best song I’ve listened to among the girl group’s singles.

Wings

[All]
Mamma told me not to waste my life
She said spread your wings my little butterfly
Don't let what they say keep you up at night
And if they give you shh...
Then they can walk on by

[Jesy]
My feet, feet can't touch the ground
And I can't hear a sound
But you just keep on running up your mouth, yeah

[Jade]
Walk, walk on over there
'Cos I'm too fly to care, oh yeah

[All]
Your words don't mean a thing
I'm not listening
Keep talking, all I know is

(Chorus)
Mamma told me not to waste my life
She said spread your wings my little butterfly
Don't let what they say keep you up at night
And they can't detain you
'Cos wings are made to fly
And we don't let nobody bring us down
No matter what you say it won't hurt me
Don't matter if I fall from the sky
These wings are made to fly

'Huh huh'...

[Perrie]
I'm firing up on that runway
I know we're gonna get there someday
But we don't need no ready steady go, no

[Leigh-Anne]
Talk, talk turns into air
And I don't even care, oh yeah

[All]
Your words don't mean a thing
I'm not listening
Keep talking, all I know is

Mamma told me not to waste my life
She said spread your wings my little butterfly
Don't let what they say keep you up at night
And they can't detain you
'Cos wings are made to fly
And we don't let nobody bring us down
No matter what you say it won't hurt me
Don't matter if I fall from the sky
These wings are made to fly

I don't need no one saying hey, hey, hey, hey
I don't hear no one saying hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey, hey
You better keep on walking
I don't wanna hear your talking, Boy'd
You better keep on walking
I don't wanna hear your talking, Boy'd

[All]
Your words don't mean a thing
I'm not listening

[Jade + Perrie]
They're just like water off my wings

Mamma told me not to waste my life
She said spread your wings my little butterfly
Don't let what they say keep you up at night
And they can't detain you
'Cos wings are made to fly

And we don't let nobody bring us down
No matter what you say it won't hurt me
Don't matter if I fall from the sky
These wings are made to fly

And we don't let nobody bring us down
No matter what you say it won't hurt me
Don't matter if I fall from the sky
These wings are made to fly...

Mama's Broken Heart - Miranda Lambert

“Mama's Broken Heart,” which is written by Brandy Clark, Shane McAnally and Kacey Musgraves, is the song I like most among Miranda Lambert’s tracks. The single is the fourth one from the songstress' fourth studio album “Four the Record.” Apart from deceptively deep lyrics, the song’s off-beat arrangement is also an engaging listen in itself with clipped, sneaky-sounding guitar licks leading up to an explosive chorus. Follow me on Google+ to know who is talking about this song.

Mama's Broken Heart

I cut my bangs with some rusty kitchen scissors
I screamed his name til the neighbors called the cops
I numbed the pain at the expense of my liver
I don't know what I did next all I know, I couldn't stop

Word got around to the barflies & the baptists
My mama's phone started ringin off the hook
I can hear her now sayin she ain't gonna have it
Don't matter how you feel, it only matters how you look

Go & fix your make up, girl it's just a break up
Run & hide your crazy & start actin like a lady
Cause I raised you better, gotta keep it together
Even when you fall apart
But this ain't my mama's broken heart

Wish I could be just a little less dramatic
Like a kennedy when camelot went down in flames
Leave it to me to be holdin the matches
When the fire trucks show up & there's nobody else to blame

Can't get revenge & keep a spotless reputation
Sometimes revenge is a choice you gotta make
My mama came from a softer generation
Where you get a grip & bite your lip & save a little face

Go & fix your make up, girl it's just a break up
Run & hide your crazy & start actin like a lady
Cause I raised you better, gotta keep it together
Even when you fall apart
But this ain't my mama's broken heart

Powder your nose, paint your toes
Line your lips & keep em closed
Cross your legs, dot your I's
& never let em see you cry

Go & fix your make up, girl it's just a break up
Run & hide your crazy & start actin like a lady
Cause I raised you better, gotta keep it together
Even when you fall apart
But this ain't my mama's broken heart

Tonight I'm Getting Over You - Carly Rae Jepsen

"Tonight I'm Getting Over You" is a song by Canadian recording artist Carly Rae Jepsen, taken from her second studio album and first international release, Kiss (2012). She's about to do it again! Carly just released the new music video for her song and I can't stop watching and singing along! The lyrics bring me feelings of powerful love and passion.

Tonight I'm Getting Over You

I wanna smash your fears
And get drunken off your tears
Don't you share your smile with anyone else but me
I wanna touch your heart
I wanna crash it in my hands
Make you plead and cry as you give up all the lies

We're not lovers
But more than friends
Put a flame to every single word you ever said
No more crying
To get me through
I'll keep dancing till the morning with somebody new
Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Over you
Over you

Stuck in a real bad dream
And man it feels so new to me
Should be in your arms but I'm begging at your feet
It's been a real hard night
And I just hold my pillow tight
It won't love me back, no,
It's not you and I

We're not lovers
But more than friends
Put a flame to every single word you ever said
No more crying
To get me through
I'll keep dancing till the morning with somebody new
Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Over you
Over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Tonight I'm getting over you
Over you
Over you

(Tonight I'm getting over you)
We're not lovers
But more than friends
Put a flame to every single word you ever said
No more crying
To get me through
I'll keep dancing till the morning with somebody new
Tonight I'm getting over you

Heart Attack - Demi Lovato

Demi Lovato‘s long awaited single “Heart Attack” is officially played on the air in New York City. The song reached number one on iTunes in nine different countries in less than 24 hours of its early release just 3 days ago. Produced by Grammy-nominated team The Suspex and written by the songstress, “Heart Attack” is a powerful, anthemic electro-pop record that lyrically speaks about falling in love and taking that risk.

Heart Attack

Putting my defenses up
Cause I don't wanna fall in love
If I ever did that, I think I'd have a heart attack

Never put my love out on the line
Never said yes to the right guy
Never had trouble getting what I want
But when it comes to you I'm never good enough

When I don't care
I can play him like a Ken doll
Won't wash my hair
Then make him bounce like a basketball

But you make me wanna act like a girl
Paint my nails and wear high heels
Yes you make me so nervous that I just can't hold your hand

You make me glow
But I cover up, won't let it show
So I'm putting my defenses up
Cause I don't wanna fall in love
If I ever did that, I think I'd have a heart attack
I think I'd have a heart attack
I think I'd have a heart attack

Never break a sweat for the other guys
When you come around I get paralyzed
And every time I try to be myself
It comes out wrong like a cry for help

It's just not fair
Brings more trouble than it all is worth
I gasp for air
It feels so good, but you know it hurts

But you make me wanna act like a girl
Paint my nails and wear perfume
For you, make me so nervous that I just can't hold your hand

You make me glow
But I cover up, won't let it show
So I'm putting my defenses up
Cause I don't wanna fall in love
If I ever did that, I think I'd have a heart attack
I think I'd have a heart attack
I think I'd have a heart attack

The feelings got lost in my lungs
They're burning, I'd rather be numb
And there's no one else to blame
So scared I'll take off and run
I'm flying too close to the sun
And I'll burst into flames

You make me glow
But I cover up, won't let it show
So I'm putting my defenses up
Cause I don't wanna fall in love
If I ever did that, I think I'd have a heart attack
I think I'd have a heart attack (4 times)

One Way Or Another (Teenage Kicks) - One Direction

British sensation One Direction’s cover of Blondie's "One Way Or Another" is absolutely awesome! The quintet’s re-working chops the fat off the original and adds a generous glaze of studio guitars and cheerleader echoes and handclaps, which really makes me impressed. “One Way Or Another” is undeniably fun to enjoy.

I’m gonna getcha getcha getcha getcha

Don't You Worry Child - Swedish House Mafia Featuring John Martin

Everytime I listen to the song "Don't You Worry Child", it reminds me of my childhood with innocent and optimistic thoughts. "Don't You Worry Child" is a song by Swedish electronic dance group, Swedish House Mafia. It is the sixth and final single released before their indefinite hiatus, featuring vocals from Swedish singer John Martin. A special thank to Angello, Axwell and Sebastian Ingrosso for all their fantastic song.

Don't You Worry Child

[Verse 1]
There was a time, I used to look into my father's eyes
In a happy home, I was a king I had a gold throne
Those days are gone, now the memories are on the wall
I still hear the sounds from the places where I was born

[Chorus]
Up on the hill across the blue lake,
That's where I had my first heart break
I still remember how it all changed
My father said
Don't you worry, don't you worry child
See heaven's got a plan for you
Don't you worry, don't you worry now
Yeah!

[Breakdown 1]
Don't you worry, don't you worry now
Yeah!
Ooh ooh ooh ooh!
See heaven's got a plan for you
Ooh ooh ooh ooh!

[Verse 2]
There was a time, I met a girl of a different kind
We ruled the world,
Thought I'd never lose her out of sight, we were so young
I think of her now and then
I still hear the song, reminding me of her

[Chorus]
Up on the hill across the blue lake,
That's where I had my first heart break
I still remember how it all changed
My father said
Don't you worry, don't you worry child
See heaven's got a plan for you
Don't you worry, don't you worry now
Yeah!

[Breakdown 2]
Don't you worry, don't you worry child
See heaven's got a plan for you
Don't you worry, don't you worry now
Yeah!
Ooh ooh ooh oh!
See heaven's got a plan for you
Ooh ooh ooh oh!
Yeah!

Best of 2013 - Stay

"Stay" is a piano driven ballad which was released on January 7, 2013, as the second single from Rihanna's seventh studio album, Unapologetic. I do not get enough of Rihanna’s softer side these days, so it’s great to see her autobiography is embedded so deeply in her recordings again. The song is definitely one of the best songs in her career. I listen to this song every night. When I close my eyes while wearing my headphones to listen to “Stay,” I can feel the pain in her voice.

Stay

All along it was a fever
A cold sweat hot-headed believers
I threw my hands in the air I said show me something
He said, if you dare come a little closer

Round and around and around and around we go
Oh now tell me now tell me now tell me now you know

Not really sure how to feel about it
Something in the way you move
Makes me feel like I can’t live without you
It takes me all the way
I want you to stay

It’s not much of a life you’re living
It’s not just something you take, it’s given
Round and around and around and around we go
Oh now tell me now tell me now tell me now you know

Not really sure how to feel about it
Something in the way you move
Makes me feel like I can’t live without you
It takes me all the way
I want you to stay

Oh the reason I hold on
Oh cause I need this hole gone
Funny all the broken ones but I’m the only one who needed saving
Cause when you never see the lights it’s hard to know which one of us is caving

Not really sure how to feel about it
Something in the way you move
Makes me feel like I can’t live without you
It takes me all the way
I want you to stay, stay
I want you to stay

Try - Pink

“Try” is the single that makes me most impressed among Pink’s tracks from her chart-topping album “The Truth About Love.” The song is a rock ballad, about taking risks with love no matter the consequences. The video for “Try,” which is directed by Floria Sigismondi and choreographed by The Golden Boyz, is beautiful and passionate as well. Pink and her band are on the road in support of her sixth studio effort.

Try

Ever wonder about what he's doing
How it all turned to lies
Sometimes I think that it's better to never ask why

Where there is desire
There is gonna be a flame
Where there is a flame
Someone's bound to get burned
But just because it burns
Doesn't mean you're gonna die
You've gotta get up and try try try
Gotta get up and try try try
You gotta get up and try try try

Eh, eh, eh

Funny how the heart can be deceiving
More than just a couple times
Why do we fall in love so easy
Even when it's not right

Repeat Chorus

Ever worried that it might be ruined
And does it make you wanna cry?
When you're out there doing what you're doing
Are you just getting by?
Tell me are you just getting by by by

Where there is desire
There is gonna be a flame
Where there is a flame
Someone's bound to get burned
But just because it burns
Doesn't mean you're gonna die
You've gotta get up and try try try
Gotta get up and try try try
You gotta get up and try try try

Gotta get up and try try try [x2]
You gotta get up and try try try
Gotta get up and try try try

You gotta get up and try try try!
Gotta get up and try try try!

Ho Hey - The Lumineers

I think "Ho Hey" is a very interesting folk song. During the first four seconds, we hear the title chanted and can immediately lock into its rhythmic heartbeat. The song's rhythm then compels you to sing along, to tap your toes, to nod your head. In my opinion, The Lumineers are America's answer to Mumford & Sons. Do you think so? Please share this post on Opera if you agree with me.

Ho Hey

I've been trying to do it right
I've been living a lonely life
I've been sleepin here instead
I've been sleepin in my bed
I've been sleepin in my bed

So show me family
All the blood that I will bleed
I don't know where I belong
I don't know where I went wrong
But I can write a song

I belong with you, you belong with me
You're my sweetheart(x2)

I don't think you're right for him
Think of what it might have been if we
Took a bus to chinatown
I'd be standin on canal and bowery
And she'd be standin next to me

I belong with you, you belong with me
You're my sweetheart(x2)

Love we need it now
Let's hope for some
Cause oh, we're bleedin out

I belong with you, you belong with me
You're my sweetheart

Not Over You - Gavin Degraw

After a few decent pop songs on his first two albums, Gavin DeGraw’s latest two albums fell flat. His fourth effort Sweeter received a moderate impact on the charts. At least, the album produced DeGraw’s most successful song on the chart since his biggest hit "I don't want to be." The lead single from Sweeter, “Not Over You” peaked at No. 18 on the Hot 100. Maybe it’s time for Gavin DeGraw to find a new career as I think music is not the right direction for him.

Not Over You

Dreams
That's where I have to go
To see your beautiful face anymore
I stare at a picture of you
And listen to the radio
Hope
Hope there's a conversation
Where we both admit we had it good
But until then
It's alienation I know
That much is understood
And I realize

If you ask me how I'm doing
I would say I'm doing just fine
I would lie and say that you're not on my mind
But I go out
And I sit down
At a table set for two
And finally I'm forced to face the truth
No matter what I say
I'm not over you

Damn
Damn girl you do it well
And I thought you were innocent
Took this heart and put it through hell
And still your magnificent
I, I'm a boomerang
Doesn't matter how you throw me
Turn around
And I'm back in the game
Even better than the old me
But I'm not even close without you

Repeat Chorus

And if I had the chance
To renew
You know there isn't a thing I wouldn't do
I could get back on the right track
But only if you'd be convinced
So until then

Repeat Chorus

Adele - Set Fire To The Rain

Adele, who dominated last year's Grammy Awards ceremony, continued her winning streak this year by beating female pop stars Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Carly Rae Jepsen and Rihanna to bag the Best Pop Solo Performance prize. The British diva picked up the award for the live version of her hit Set Fire To The Rain. Follow me on Tumblr if you like the song.

I let it fall, my heart,
And as it fell you rose to claim it
It was dark and I was over
Until you kissed my lips and you saved me

My hands, they're strong
But my knees were far too weak,
To stand in your arms
Without falling to your feet

But there's a side to you
That I never knew, never knew.
All the things you'd say
They were never true, never true,
And the games you play
You would always win, always win.

[Chorus:]
But I set fire to the rain,
Watched it pour as I touched your face,
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screaming out your name, your name!

When I lay with you
I could stay there
Close my eyes
Feel you here forever
You and me together
Nothing is better

'Cause there's a side to you
That I never knew, never knew,
All the things you'd say,
They were never true, never true,
And the games you'd play
You would always win, always win.

[Chorus:]
But I set fire to the rain,
Watched it pour as I touched your face,
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screaming out your name, your name!

I set fire to the rain
And I threw us into the flames
When it fell, something died
'Cause I knew that that was the last time, the last time!

Sometimes I wake up by the door,
That heart you caught must be waiting for you
Even now when we're already over
I can't help myself from looking for you.

[Chorus:]
I set fire to the rain,
Watched it pour as I touched your face,
Well, it burned while I cried
'Cause I heard it screaming out your name, your name

I set fire to the rain,
And I threw us into the flames
When it fell, something died
'Cause I knew that that was the last time, the last time, oh!

Oh no
Let it burn, oh
Let it burn

Adorn - Miguel

“Adorn,” the first single from Miguel's critically acclaimed album Kaleidoscope Dream, was entirely written and produced by him. It is an appealing sweet love song that features beautiful production, falsetto vocals and background vocals. You can download the song on Opera to sing along with the lyrics here. Miguel's adoring lyrics do well in keeping the song simple and straightforward.

Adorn

These lips can't wait to taste your skin, baby, no, no
And these eyes, yeah, can't wait to see your grin, ooh ooh baby
Just let my love
Just let my love adorn you
Please baby, yeah

You gotta know
You gotta know
You know that I adore you
Yeah baby

Baby these fists will always protect ya, lady
And this mind, oh, will never neglect you, yeah, baby, oh, baby
And if they try to break us down don't let that affect us, no, baby

You just gotta let my love
Let my love
Let my love adorn you
Ah, let it dress you down

You got to know
You gotta know
Know that I adore you
Just that babe

I... oh oh
Let my love adorn you baby
Don't you ever
Don't you let nobody tell you different baby
I'll always adore you
You gotta know know
You got to know know know
Now yeah

Ooh, yeah
The same way that the stars adorn the skies yeah (every night baby)
Oh, look up suga (every night baby)
Now, hey, hey, hey
The same way that my whole world's in your eyes (in your eyes baby)
Ooh, and this time now (and this time baby)

Just let
Let my love adorn you baby, hey
Let it dress you down
You gotta know, baby
Oh, you gotta know
Know that I adore you
Oh, love aint never looked so good on ya
Ooh, put it on baby
Let my love adorn you

Turn Up the Radio - Madonna

Even at 54, Madonna is a ridiculously successful international sensation. "Turn Up the Radio" is my favorite song off her twelfth studio album MDNA (2012). As a dance song with influences of pop and electronic music genres, "Turn Up the Radio" is a song about the power of music, with Madonna pleading with the listener to stop for a moment, to get away from the world through music. This song is crushing competition on the charts and her halfway completed MDNA Tour already grossed almost $120 mil worldwide. That's incredible! Don't forget to bookmark this page for more Madonna songs.

Turn Up the Radio

When the world starts to get you down
And nothing seems to go your way
And the noise of the maddening crowd
Makes you feel like you’re going to go insane

There’s a glow of a distant light
Calling you to come outside
To feel the wind on your face and your skin
And it’s here I begin my story

Turn up the radio
Turn up the radio
Don’t ask me where I wanna go
We gotta turn up the radio

It was time that I opened my eyes
I’m leaving the past behind
Nothing’s ever what it seems
Including this time and these crazy dreams

I’m stuck like a moth to a flame
I’m so tired of playing this game
I don’t know how I got to this state
Let me out of my cage cause I’m dying

Turn up the radio
Turn up the radio
Don’t ask me where I wanna go
We gotta turn up the radio

Turn up the radio
Turn up the radio
Don’t ask me where I wanna go
We gotta turn up the radio

I just wanna get in my car
I wanna go fast and I gotta go far
Don’t ask me to explain how I feel
‘Cause I don’t want to say where I’m going

Turn down the noise and turn up the volume
Don’t have a choice cause the temperatures pounding
Leaving this place is the last thing I do
That I want to escape with a person just like you

I’m stuck like a moth to a flame
I’m so sick and tired of playing this game
We gotta have fun it it’s all that we do
Gotta shake up the system and break all the rules
Gotta turn up the radio until the speakers blow

Turn up the radio
Turn up the radio
Don’t ask me where I wanna go
We gotta turn up the radio

Turn up the radio
Turn up the radio
There’s somethings you don’t need to know
Just let me turn up the radio

Turn up the radio
Just let me turn up the radio
Just let me turn up the radio

I like it like that - Hot Chelle Rae

Although summer is over and it is very cold in our country, I think “I like it like that” is a great choice for this weekend. “I Like It Like That,” which features rap duo New Boyz, is a sugary mix of synths and piano. The song is the second single from Nashville pop rock group Hot Chelle Rae’s album “Whatever.” It is sound fairly similar with the group’s previous hit “Tonight Tonight,” but I prefer this one.

I like it like that

Let's get it on, yeah, y'all can come along
Everybody drinks on me, buy out the bar
Just to feel like I'm a star, now I'm thanking the academy
Missed my ride home, lost my iPhone
I wouldn't have it any other way
If you're with me let me hear you say

I like it like that!
Hey windows down, chilling with the radio on
I like it like that!
Damn, the sun's so hot, make the girls take it all off
I like it like that!
Yeah, one more time, I can never get enough of everybody
Sing it right back, I like it like that!

Till the break of the dawn, yeah, party on my lawn
Whistle as the girls walk by if the cops roll up (so what?)
Pour the cops a cup cause everybody's here tonight
Call a taxi, pack the back seat
I wouldn't have it any other way
If you're with me let me hear you say

Repeat Chorus

Oh oh oh oh, like that
Oh oh oh oh, like that
Oh oh oh oh, sing it right back, I like it like that

Oh my homie got the booze
I like it like that cause the girls playing beer pong in the back
We having fun partying til the break of dawn
Go grab a cup I dunno what people waiting on
And I'm gonna want a girl that I know I can take home
In the zone, where I think that I lost my phone
You can tell by looking in, the party's plain crack
And don't worry 'bout it girls cause I like it like

Come back stay here at my grandma's house
And leave your clothes over there, that's grandma couch
I be filming her friends too, hit em back on that
Double D chicks hugging, I got racks on racks
Lie, I know there's a reason for superstar
I'm just trying to chill with Miley at the hookah bar
You like cartoons? I'll make your heart melt
With this sick tune, play it in the car

Chorus (2 times)

Oh oh oh oh like that
Oh oh oh oh like that...
Oh oh oh oh everybody, sing it right back, I like it like that
I like it like that

As long as you love me - Justin Bieber

When speaking about Canadian singer Justin Bieber, it is impossible not to mention his big hit “As Long As You Love Me.” The single, which is produced by Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins and Andre Lindal, is taken from his third studio album, “Believe.” Lyrically, Justin Bieber, who sings the words passionately, pledges never ending love even in the most dire circumstances. “As Long As You Love Me” is the song that made Justin Bieber the fifth Canadian artist to reach the number one position on Billboard's Dance/Mix Show Airplay chart. Please share this post on Twitter if you love this song.

As long as you love me

As long as you love me [x3]

We're under pressure,
Seven billion people in the world trying to fit in
Keep it together,
Smile on your face even though your heart is frowning
But hey now, you know, girl,
We both know it's a cruel world
But I will take my chances

As long as you love me
We could be starving, we could be homeless, we could be broke
As long as you love me
I'll be your platinum, I'll be your silver, I'll be your gold
As long as you love, love, love, love me (love me) [x2]

I'll be your soldier,
Fighting every second of the day for your dreams, girl
I'll be your Hova
You can be my Destiny's Child on the scene girl
So don't stress, don't cry, we don't need no wings to fly
Just take my hand

Repeat Chorus

[Big Sean]
Yo, B-I-G
I don't know if this makes sense, but you're my hallelujah
Give me a time and place, and I'll rendezvous, and I'll fly you to it,
I'll beat you there
Girl you know I got you
Us, trust...
A couple of things I can't spell without 'U'
Now we are on top of the world, 'cause that's just how we do
Used to tell me, "Sky's the limit", now the sky's our point of view (view)
Man now we stepping out like, "Whoa" (Oh God)
Cameras point and shoot (shoot)
Ask me what's my best side, I stand back and point at you
You, you the one that I argue with, I feel like I need a new girl to be bothered with,
But the grass ain't always greener on the other side,
It's green where you water it
So I know we got issues baby true, true, true,
But I'd rather work on this with you
Than to go ahead and start with someone new
As long as you love me

As long as you love me (love me yeah yeah yeah)
We could be starving, we could be homeless, we could be broke
As long as you love me
I'll be your platinum (platinum), I'll be your silver, I'll be your gold
As long as you love me
As long as you love, love, love, love me
As long as you love me (that's all I want baby)
As long as you love, love, love, love me [x2]
As long as you love me

Taylor Swift | Dear John | Back to December

Taylor Swift’s signature heartbreak tunes are inextricably connected to her high-profile romances. We all know that the riveting "Dear John," on Taylor Swift's third studio album, Speak Now, is about John Mayer. Meanwhile, "Back to December" is reportedly about her breakup with "Twilight" hunk Taylor Lautner. Follow me on Scoop if you are a Taylor Swift fan like me.

Dear John

Long were the nights when
My days once revolved around you
Counting my footsteps
Praying the floor won’t fall through, again
My mother accused me of losing my mind

But I swore I was fine

You paint me a blue sky
And go back and turn it to rain
And I lived in your chess game
But you changed the rules everyday
Wonderin’ which version of you I might get on the phone, tonight
Well I stopped pickin’ up and this song is to let you know why

Dear John, I see it all now that you're gone

Don't you think I was too young

To be messed with
The girl in the dress

Cried the whole way home, I should've known.

Well maybe it’s me
And my blind optimism to blame
Or maybe it’s you and your sick need
To give love and take it away

And you'll add my name to your long list of traitors who don't understand
And I'll look back in regret how I ignored when they said

'Run as fast as you can’

Dear John, I see it all now that you're gone

Don't you think I was too young

To be messed with
The girl in the dress

Cried the whole way home

Dear John, I see it all now it was wrong
Don’t you think nineteen’s too young
To be played by your dark, twisted games
When I loved you so, I should've known.

You are an expert at sorry
And keeping the lines blurry
Never impressed by me acing your tests
All the girls that you run dry have tired lifeless eyes
Cause you burned them out

But I took your matches
Before fire could catch me
So don’t look now
I’m shining like fireworks
Over your sad empty town

Dear John, I see it all now that you're gone

Don't you think I was too young

To be messed with
The girl in the dress

Cried the whole way home

I see it all now that you're gone

Don't you think I was too young

To be messed with
The girl in the dress

Wrote you a song, you should’ve known.

You should’ve known
Don’t you think I was too young
You should’ve known

Back To December

I'm so glad you made time to see me.
How's life? Tell me how's your family.
I haven't seen them in a while.
You've been good, busier than ever,
We small talk, work and the weather,
Your guard is up and I know why.
Because the last time you saw me
Is still burned in the back of your mind.
You gave me roses and I left them there to die.

So this is me swallowing my pride,
Standing in front of you saying, "I'm sorry for that night,"
And I go back to December all the time.
It turns out freedom ain't nothing but missing you.
Wishing I'd realized what I had when you were mine.
I'd go back to December, turn around and make it all right.
I go back to December all the time.

These days I haven't been sleeping,
Staying up, playing back myself leavin'.
When your birthday passed and I didn't call.
And I think about summer, all the beautiful times,
I watched you laughing from the passenger side.
Realized that I loved you in the fall.

And then the cold came, the dark days when fear crept into my mind
You gave me all your love and all I gave you was "Goodbye".

Repeat Chorus

I miss your tanned skin, your sweet smile,
So good to me, so right
And how you held me in your arms that September night --
The first time you ever saw me cry.

Maybe this is wishful thinking,
Probably mindless dreaming,
But if we loved again, I swear I'd love you right.

I'd go back in time and change it but I can't.
So if the chain is on your door I understand.

But this is me swallowing my pride
Standing in front of you saying, "I'm sorry for that night."
And I go back to December...
It turns out freedom ain't nothing but missing you,
Wishing I'd realize what I had when you were mine.
I'd go back to December, turn around and make it all right.
I'd go back to December, turn around and change my own mind

I go back to December all the time.
All the time.

Wanted - Hunter Hayes

Nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Country Solo Performance at the 2013 Grammy Awards, the song “Wanted” by Hunter Hayes is music for people who don’t like music. It is a powerful and romantic ballad whose chorus is overly contrived and wholly ambivalent to originality or creative artistic expression. “Wanted” is also the hit that made Hunter Hayes the youngest solo male artist to top the Hot Country Songs chart. If you love the song, please share my post on your Twitter or Facebook profile.

You know I'd fall apart without you
I don't know how you do what you do
'Cause everything that don't make sense about me
Makes sense when I'm with you

Like everything that's green, girl, I need you
But it's more than one and one makes two
Put aside the math and the logic of it
You gotta know you're wanted too

'Cause I wanna wrap you up
Wanna kiss your lips
I wanna make you feel wanted
And I wanna call you mine
Wanna hold your hand forever
And never let you forget it
Yeah, I, I wanna make you feel wanted

Anyone can tell you you're pretty, yeah
And you get that all the time, I know you do
But your beauty's deeper than the make-up
And I wanna show you what I see tonight...

When I wrap you up
When I kiss your lips.
I I wanna make you feel wanted
And I wanna call you mine
Wanna hold your hand forever
And never let you forget it
'Cause, baby, I, I wanna make you feel wanted

As good as you make me feel
I wanna make you feel better
Better than your fairy tales
Better than your best dreams
You're more than everything I need
You're all I ever wanted
All I ever wanted

And I just wanna wrap you up
Wanna kiss your lips
I wanna make you feel wanted
And I wanna call you mine
Wanna hold your hand forever
And never let you forget it
Yeah, I wanna make you feel wanted
Baby, I wanna make you feel wanted

You'll always be wanted

Little things - One Direction

One Direction is not my favourite band but this sickly-sweet quintet really melted my heart with their serenading track “Little Things” from their second album "Take Me Home." The song was written by Ed Sheeran, a close friend of the "X Factor" U.K. boy band, and inspired by someone who is now his ex-girlfriend. The lyrics and acoustic vibes of the song are miles apart from the group’s fun pop style of “Live While We're Young,” which really make me feel excited when I enjoy it.

Little things
[Zayn]
Your hand fits in mine
Like it's made just for me
But bear this in mind
It was meant to be
And I'm joining up the dots
With the freckles on your cheeks
And it all makes sense to me

[Liam]
I know you've never loved
The crinkles by your eyes when you smile
You've never loved
Your stomach or your thighs
The dimples in your back at the bottom of your spine

[Zayn + Liam]
But I'll love them endlessly

(Chorus)
I won't let these little things slip out of my mouth
But if I do, it's you,
Oh it's you,
They add up to
I'm in love with you,
And all these little things

[Louis]
You can't go to bed,
Without a cup of tea,
And maybe that's the reason
That you talk, in your sleep
And all those conversations
Are the secrets that I keep
Though it makes no sense to me

[Harry]
I know you've never loved the sound of your voice on tape
You never want to know how much you weigh
You still have to squeeze into your jeans
But,

[Harry + Niall]
You're perfect to me

Repeat Chorus

[Niall]
You'll never love yourself
Half as much as I love you
You'll never treat yourself right, darlin'
But I want you to,
If I let you know, I'm here for you,
Maybe you'll love yourself,
Like I love you
Oh

[Harry]
And I've just let these little things
Slip, out of my mouth,
'Cause it's you, oh it's you,
It's you,
They add up to
And I'm in love with you,
And all these little things,

Chorus

If I Die Young

I am very tired. I am thinking about the death now. I feel so lonely. The song I picked to today is The Band Perry’s biggest hit "If I Die Young." I cry every time I listen to this song. If you think this song is great, please share this post on Jeqq and your social network accounts.

If I die young, bury me in satin
Lay me down on a, bed of roses
Sink me in the river, at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love song

Uh oh, uh oh

Lord make me a rainbow, I'll shine down on my mother
She'll know I'm safe with you when she stands under my colors, oh,
And life ain't always what you think it ought to be, no
Ain't even grey, but she buries her baby

The sharp knife of a short life, well
I've had just enough time

If I die young, bury me in satin
Lay me down on a bed of roses
Sink me in the river at dawn
Send me away with the words of a love song

The sharp knife of a short life, well
I've had just enough time

And I'll be wearing white, when I come into your kingdom
I'm as green as the ring on my little cold finger,
I've never known the loving of a man
But it sure felt nice when he was holding my hand,
There's a boy here in town, says he'll love me forever,
Who would have thought forever could be severed by

The sharp knife of a short life, well,
I've had just enough time

So put on your best, boys, and I'll wear my pearls
What I never did is done

A penny for my thoughts, oh, no, I'll sell 'em for a dollar
They're worth so much more after I'm a goner
And maybe then you'll hear the words I been singing
Funny when you're dead how people start listening

Repeat Chorus

Uh oh (uh, oh)
The ballad of a dove (oh, uh)
Go with peace and love
Gather up your tears, keep 'em in your pocket
Save 'em for a time when you're really gonna need 'em, oh

The sharp knife of a short life, well
I've had just enough time

So put on your best, boys, and I'll wear my pearls.

Oh, Saturday is coming. Thanks God! Have a nice weekend guys.

Diamonds - Rihanna

Rihanna is always my favorite female singer so I decided to pick her latest hit for my first post in 2013. If you like this song, please Google+ this post or write a comment here.
Shine bright like a diamond
Shine bright like a diamond

Find light in the beautiful sea
I choose to be happy
You and I, you and I
We’re like diamonds in the sky

You’re a shooting star I see
A vision of ecstasy
When you hold me, I’m alive
We’re like diamonds in the sky

I knew that we’d become one right away
Oh, right away
At first sight I felt the energy of sun rays
I saw the life inside your eyes

CHORUS
So shine bright tonight, you and I
We’re beautiful like diamonds in the sky
Eye to eye, so alive
We’re beautiful like diamonds in the sky

Shine bright like a diamond
Shine bright like a diamond
Shine bright like a diamond
We’re beautiful like diamonds in the sky

Shine bright like a diamond
Shine bright like a diamond
Shine bright like a diamond
We’re beautiful like diamonds in the sky

Palms rise to the universe
As we moonshine and molly
Feel the warmth, we’ll never die
We’re like diamonds in the sky

You’re a shooting star I see
A vision of ecstasy
When you hold me, I’m alive
We’re like diamonds in the sky

At first sight I felt the energy of sun rays
I saw the life inside your eyes

Repeat Chorus

Shine bright like a diamond (3 times)
We’re beautiful like diamonds in the sky
Shine bright like a diamond (3 times)
We're beautiful like diamonds in the sky

Shine bright like a diamond
Shine bright like a diamond
Shine bright like a diamond

Repeat Chorus
